Washington 45

A list of open textbooks and course materials created by public community, technical, four-year college or university in Washington state from courses selected  within the general education categories that will be able to transfer and apply a maximum of 45 quarter credits toward general education requirement(s) at any other public and most private higher education institutions in the state.

Wiki Book
Wiki books is a community effort where authors voluntarily start the book writing project, and readers can nominate them to be “featured books.” Anyone can contribute to an existing Wikibook or start a new Wikibook.

California Open Online Library for Education (Cool4Ed)
Library of free open source textbooks and other materials from the State of California Higher Educations Systems.

Johns Hopkins School of Publich Health Open Course Ware (JHSPH OCW) 110 courses in Health and Medical areas are included in the repository. Full course packages are provided including syllabus, readings and assignments. Most courses are paired with completely free or highly affordable textbooks ($10-$30).

PSU College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Open Courseware
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences provides open course materials in topics including Energy and Mineral Engineering, Geography, Geoscience, and Materials Science. Each full course package includes a syllabus, readings, and assignments.

Internet Archive: A/V Geeks

The A/V Geeks Film Archive is an ephemeral film collection curated by Skip Elsheimer. What started as a hobby more than ten years is now a lifetime commitment. His collection has grown to over 24,000 films gathered from school auctions, thrift stores, closets and dumpsters. The Archive features old civil defense & public service films shot by the government in the 40′s & 50′s.
